What it does
Sites with a points system often reward activity but overlook the people who have simply stuck around for years. This add-on fills that gap by tying rewards to each user's registration date. When a user's anniversary comes up, points are awarded automatically, so there is no need to track sign-up dates by hand or remember to send rewards yourself. It works inside myCred and alongside other myCred add-ons.
You can reward users every year in a row, or set rewards for specific milestones such as the 3rd or 5th year, which suits sites where people come and go. An anniversary points log records every reward granted, letting administrators review the history and adjust distributions. The add-on runs on single sites and multisite networks, and it relies on BuddyPress, making it a natural fit for BuddyPress communities already using myCred.
Best for
- BuddyPress communities running the myCred points system
- Online communities that want to recognize long-time users
- Multisite networks using myCred for user rewards
Features
Automatic anniversary points
Users receive myCred points automatically on the anniversary of their registration date, with no manual tracking or scheduling needed from administrators.
Consecutive year rewards
Set rewards that repeat every year a user stays registered, giving long-term users steady recognition for their continued time on your site.
Milestone year rewards
Award points on specific non-consecutive anniversaries, such as the 3rd or 5th year, so you can mark bigger milestones with their own rewards.
Anniversary points log
A dedicated log shows every anniversary reward granted, so administrators can review the reward history and adjust distributions when needed.
Single and multisite support
The add-on works on standalone WordPress sites as well as multisite networks, giving you options for how you deploy it.
Works with other myCred add-ons
Anniversary rewards run alongside other myCred add-ons, so they become one part of your wider points and rewards setup.

Questions about myCred Anniversary Pro
Does this work on its own or do I need myCred?
It is an add-on for the myCred points management system, so it awards myCred points and works within that system. It also relies on BuddyPress, so your site should be running BuddyPress as well.
Can I reward only certain anniversaries instead of every year?
Yes. Along with rewards for every consecutive year, you can set rewards for specific milestone anniversaries such as the 3rd or 5th year, or other intervals that suit your user base.
Can I see which users received anniversary points?
Yes. The anniversary points log lists all anniversary rewards that have been granted. Administrators can use it to track and review the reward history and adjust distributions when needed.
Will it run on a WordPress multisite network?
Yes. The add-on supports both single WordPress sites and multisite networks, so you can use it whether you manage one community or several sites under one network.
Is myCred Anniversary Pro free?
The code of myCred Anniversary Pro is licensed under the GPL, so anyone may use, change and share it. GPL Feast is a paid service: a plan or a single purchase gives you the download and automatic updates. The developer's own support, licence key and online services are not included.
Which version of myCred Anniversary Pro is this?
Version 1.0.4, released Jul 25, 2025. New versions appear here when the developer publishes them, and members get them as automatic updates.
How do I update myCred Anniversary Pro?
Install the free GPL Feast Updater on your site and connect it with your API key. It installs new versions of myCred Anniversary Pro automatically and keeps a backup, so you can roll back.
What does myCred Anniversary Pro need?
myCred Anniversary Pro needs BuddyPress installed and active.
