What it does
Many BuddyPress communities already use myCred points, but everyday social actions often sit outside that points economy. This addon connects the two. You can attach a points cost or reward to sending private messages, joining groups or viewing profiles, so members spend or earn points as they interact. That gives site owners a way to put value on access to certain activities and to give members a reason to collect points in the first place.
The addon also opens up member-to-member exchanges. Members can buy and sell access to their own profiles with points, which works as a personal privacy control as well. Group joining can carry a points fee, and you decide whether that fee goes to the site admin or gets shared among the group's members. It requires BuddyPress and works with the myCred points system on both single site and multisite WordPress installations.
