What it does
Getting people to return to a community site day after day takes some kind of incentive. This plugin turns the daily login into a small reward moment by giving users points through myCRED whenever they sign in within a 24-hour window. Once the rewards are configured, distribution runs automatically, so admins do not need to hand out points manually or track who logged in on which day.
The core of the plugin is a rewards calendar. Admins can set rewards for consecutive or non-consecutive login days, make a calendar repeatable so users can earn again, and require users to finish other calendars before the current one pays out. Bonus points can be set for consecutive or milestone logins, and popup notifications tell users when points land. It works on single site and multisite installations and lists BuddyPress as a requirement.
Best for
- BuddyPress community sites using myCRED points
- Sites running gamified loyalty or points programs
- Admins who want automated rewards for repeat visits
Features
Daily login points
Users automatically receive myCRED points when they log in within a 24-hour window, giving them a steady reason to return to the site.
Customizable rewards calendar
Set and manage rewards for consecutive or non-consecutive login days, so the reward schedule matches how your community actually uses the site.
Repeatable calendar cycles
Make a calendar repeatable so users can work through it again and keep earning rewards after finishing a full cycle.
Linked calendar requirements
Require users to complete other calendars before they can earn from the current one, which adds a layered challenge to the login rewards.
Bonus login rewards
Award extra bonus points for consecutive or milestone logins, rewarding users who keep a streak going or reach a set number of logins.
Popup notifications
Show users a popup alert when they receive their daily login points, so they see the reward right away instead of finding it later.
Single and multisite support
Run the plugin on a standalone WordPress installation or across a multisite network, depending on how your sites are set up.

Questions about myCRED Daily Login Rewards
Does this work on its own or do I need myCRED?
It is built as an add-on for the myCRED points management system, and the points users earn are myCRED points. It also lists BuddyPress as a requirement, so plan on having both in place on your site.
Can I reward users for login streaks?
Yes. The rewards calendar lets you set rewards for consecutive login days, and the bonus feature adds extra points for consecutive or milestone logins. You can also set rewards for non-consecutive days if you prefer a looser schedule.
What happens when a user finishes the rewards calendar?
If you make the calendar repeatable, users can cycle through it again and keep earning. You can also chain calendars by requiring completion of other calendars before a user can earn from the current one.
Will it work on a WordPress multisite network?
Yes. The plugin supports both single site and multisite WordPress installations, so you can use it on one site or across a network.
Is myCRED Daily Login Rewards free?
The code of myCRED Daily Login Rewards is licensed under the GPL, so anyone may use, change and share it. GPL Feast is a paid service: a plan or a single purchase gives you the download and automatic updates. The developer's own support, licence key and online services are not included.
Which version of myCRED Daily Login Rewards is this?
Version 1.1.2, released Aug 8, 2025. New versions appear here when the developer publishes them, and members get them as automatic updates.
How do I update myCRED Daily Login Rewards?

What does myCRED Daily Login Rewards need?
