What it does
A points system only works when people notice it. If users earn points or a badge and nothing tells them, the reward goes unseen. This add-on fixes that by showing a notification the moment something changes in their myCred account. It covers points gained and lost, rank promotions and demotions, and new badge achievements. The plugin is built to work alongside myCred and also lists BuddyPress as a requirement, which makes it a natural fit for community sites where members are active and earning rewards.
You control how the alerts look and behave. Each type of notification can have its own color, so a points gain and a points loss are easy to tell apart. You can add sound effects, pick from several styling themes or build your own look, and choose where on the screen the notifications appear.
