What it does
Points systems work best when rewards match real, qualified actions. If points land in a user's balance the moment an action fires, there is no chance to catch mistakes, duplicate claims or attempts to game the system. This addon adds a holding step: points go into a pending status first, and an admin decides when they become part of the user's balance. That review step helps keep a loyalty, engagement or gamification program fair and transparent for everyone taking part.
You choose where the pending status applies. It can cover everyone, or only specific user roles, usernames, badges, ranks or references, so you can match it to how your community is organized. Pending points can release automatically after a number of days you set, or you can release them by hand at any time. A dedicated pending points log lists every held transaction for tracking and review. It handles multiple point types, works on single sites and multisite networks, and lists BuddyPress as a requirement.
