What it does
A site can have plenty of activity behind the scenes while new visitors see nothing but static pages. This addon brings that activity to the front by displaying small on-screen notifications whenever users comment, publish content or view videos. People tend to join in when they can see others taking part, so these messages give newcomers a clear sign that the community is active and worth exploring.
The addon works with your existing myCred setup and requires BuddyPress. You control how long each notification stays on screen and how often new ones appear, which helps you avoid overwhelming visitors. You can pin notifications to specific reference points on your pages or let the addon pick positions at random. It runs on a single WordPress site or across a multisite network.
Best for
- BuddyPress community sites running myCred
- Content sites with active commenters and contributors
- Multisite networks wanting visible user activity
