What it does
Sites that publish video often want a way to encourage people to press play and keep watching. This add-on gives you that by tying video activity to myCred points. Once it is in place, viewing activity in JW Player is tracked and points are granted based on the rules you choose, so rewards happen without any manual work on your part. It requires BuddyPress, so it fits naturally on community sites already built around user profiles and activity.
You can reward viewers at different stages: the moment a video starts, when it is watched to the end, or at intervals during playback. Mixing these lets you shape a reward plan that matches how your audience watches. Shortcodes let you place the video functionality wherever it makes sense on your pages, and point amounts can be adjusted to reflect the value of each piece of content. The add-on works on single WordPress sites and on multisite networks.
