What it does
In a social community, personal profiles work well for individuals but poorly for a shop, a charity or a band. Posts about the entity get mixed in with personal updates, and only one person can look after them. This plugin adds pages as their own type of space, so an organization or public figure gets a distinct identity inside the community where followers can keep up with its updates and join the conversation.
Each page can be run by several people. Owners, managers and moderators share the work of posting, curating content and keeping comments in check, so one account does not carry all the administration. Pages can be customized to match the entity's branding, and they work inside the existing PeepSo setup, using the social features your community already has. It suits small niche groups as well as larger social networks.
