What it does
Sites that collect user registrations often keep a separate newsletter list, and moving people from one to the other by hand is slow and easy to get wrong. This add-on links the two. A visitor who registers through a Pie Register form can be subscribed to a MailChimp list at the same time, using either single or double opt-in with verification, so you decide how subscriber consent is confirmed.
Settings are handled per form, so each registration form can send people to its own list with its own field mapping to MailChimp merge tags. Existing users are covered too: you can bulk import them into MailChimp by form. When something goes wrong, admins get email alerts about failed subscriptions, and import errors can be exported as CSV reports for review. It suits membership communities, online stores and other sites built on Pie Register.
