What’s new in Pie Register Social Sites Login 1.8

What it does
Registration forms ask people for a lot: a username, an email, a password and often more. Many visitors give up partway through, and those who finish have one more password to remember. This add-on lets them skip that step by using an account they already have on Facebook, Twitter, Google or LinkedIn. When someone signs in this way, the account is created on your site right away, and their details are pulled from the social profile so they do not have to type them in.
The add-on works only with the Pie Register plugin, so it fits into the registration setup you already run there. You place the social login buttons wherever you want them using shortcodes, on any page or post. The buttons come in different sizes, or you can swap in your own images so they match your site's design. It suits community sites, membership sites and online stores that want a shorter path from visitor to registered user.
Best for
- Membership sites already using Pie Register for registration
- Community sites that want quicker sign-ups
- Online stores that want customers to sign in with social accounts
