What it does
Running a membership site and a digital storefront side by side usually means deciding who can grab which files and keeping that list current by hand. This add-on ties the two systems together. You assign Easy Digital Downloads products to specific Restrict Content Pro membership tiers, and the plugin checks a user's membership before allowing a download. It requires Easy Digital Downloads, and it is built to work with Restrict Content Pro.
Once products are assigned, downloads become available or restricted based on membership status, so you don't have to grant or revoke access manually when someone joins, upgrades or lapses. Settings live in the WordPress dashboard. It fits online course platforms, digital libraries and premium content sites that want to offer downloadable files as a benefit of paid membership, with different tiers getting different content.
