What it does
Most WooCommerce stores eventually hit a case where a shipping method or payment gateway should not be offered to everyone. Cash on delivery might suit local buyers only, a carrier may not handle heavy parcels, or wholesale customers may need different terms from retail shoppers. Out of the box, WooCommerce has limited ways to handle this. This plugin adds a rule system that filters the methods shown at checkout, based on the details of the cart and the customer placing the order.
Rules can look at the cart total, total weight, product categories and attributes like size or color, applied coupons, the customer's country, state or postcode, their user role, or even a specific customer. Time and date conditions, including time of day, let you limit options during set periods. You can also tie the two sides together, restricting payment gateways based on the chosen shipping method and shipping methods based on the selected gateway. It fits stores with mixed product types, wholesale and retail customers, or regional delivery rules.
