What it does

Every time WordPress builds a page with PHP, your server does work that a visitor has to wait for. This plugin stores pre-generated HTML pages on the server's disk and serves those instead, so many requests skip dynamic processing. It can also push cached pages out to Cloudflare's edge locations, which means visitors can get content from the network rather than your server, and your server carries less load. This works on free Cloudflare plans as well as paid ones.

Caching is only part of the picture. Images, videos and iframes can be lazy-loaded so they only load when they reach the visitor's viewport. JavaScript can be deferred or delayed until after the page loads to cut down on render-blocking scripts. If a particular script breaks when optimized, you can exclude it. The cache clears automatically after content updates, so visitors see current pages, and the settings are built for quick setup on anything from a small blog to a busier site.

Best for

  • Sites already using Cloudflare, including free plans
  • Bloggers wanting lighter pages with lazy-loaded media
  • Agencies tuning JavaScript on complex client sites

Features

Disk-level HTML caching

Serves pre-generated HTML pages straight from the server's disk, reducing how often WordPress has to run PHP to build a page from scratch.

Cloudflare edge caching

Caches pages at Cloudflare's edge locations worldwide to speed content delivery and ease server load, and it works with free Cloudflare plans too.

Lazy-loading for media

Delays loading of images, videos and iframes until they appear in the visitor's viewport, which lightens the initial page load and saves bandwidth.

Deferred and delayed JavaScript

Defers script execution or holds it until after the page loads, cutting down on render-blocking JavaScript so pages display sooner.

Custom script exclusions

Lets you leave specific JavaScript files out of optimization, so scripts that need to run normally keep working on more complex sites.

Automatic cache purging

Clears the cache automatically after you update content, so visitors see the latest version of your pages without manual purging.

Simple setup interface

A user-friendly settings screen designed for quick configuration, so you can get caching running without working through technical complexity.

Questions about Super Page Cache Pro

Do I need a paid Cloudflare plan to use the edge caching?

No. The Cloudflare edge caching works with free Cloudflare plans as well. Pages can be cached at Cloudflare's edge locations and served from there, alongside the disk-level HTML cache stored on your own server.

What happens if a script on my site breaks when JavaScript is deferred?

You can use the custom script exclusions to leave specific JavaScript files out of the optimization process. That way the rest of your scripts can still be deferred or delayed while the problem file runs as it normally would.

Will visitors see old content after I edit a page?

The plugin purges the cache automatically after updates, so your visitors are served the latest version of your content. You do not have to clear cached pages by hand each time you make a change.

What media does the lazy-loading cover?

Lazy-loading applies to images, videos and iframes. Each one waits to load until it enters the visitor's viewport, which reduces the amount loaded up front and lowers bandwidth use on long pages.

Is Super Page Cache Pro free?

The code of Super Page Cache Pro is licensed under the GPL, so anyone may use, change and share it. GPL Feast is a paid service: a plan or a single purchase gives you the download and automatic updates. The developer's own support, licence key and online services are not included.

Which version of Super Page Cache Pro is this?

Version 5.3.5, released Sep 7, 2026. New versions appear here when the developer publishes them, and members get them as automatic updates.

How do I update Super Page Cache Pro?

Install the free GPL Feast Updater on your site and connect it with your API key. It installs new versions of Super Page Cache Pro automatically and keeps a backup, so you can roll back.
