What it does
BuddyPress gives every member a profile with a fixed set of tabs, and changing that navigation usually means writing custom code. This plugin moves that work into an admin panel under Dashboard, Users, Profile Tabs. From there you can add as many new tabs and child tabs as your community needs, rename or reposition the tabs BuddyPress and other plugins already provide, and choose which component loads by default when someone opens a profile.
Each new tab can hold text, images, video, audio, documents and shortcodes, written in a visual editor with an HTML mode for finer control. Shortcode support means you can drop features from other plugins straight into a profile tab. You can also decide which user roles see a tab, including admin-only tabs, and set visibility separately for profile owners and visitors. It works with BuddyPress and the BuddyBoss Platform, and it comes with a companion plugin, BuddyPress Group Tabs Creator Pro, for managing group tabs.
