What’s new in User Registration File Upload 1.4.3

- FixedDeprecated jQuery bind() shorthand logging a console warning in the File Upload field script.
- FixedInvalid class selector in the File Upload field script when collecting the field's existing value.
What it does
Many registration forms need more than a name and email address. Job applications, membership signups and verification steps often call for a resume, an ID scan or a spreadsheet. This add-on lets you place file upload fields directly in your User Registration forms, so users submit everything in one place instead of sending attachments by email. You decide which file types each field accepts and how large uploads can be, and server-side checks block files that do not meet your rules.
Once files arrive, they are stored in a dedicated user_registration_uploads folder. You can view, download or delete them from a user's profile page in the WordPress admin or from the global settings, and files are removed when users delete their profiles or files. Upload fields also work inside Elementor pop-up forms and on WooCommerce checkout pages. Developers can use filters to change file names and upload directories, and the interface is responsive and translation ready.
Best for
- Job boards collecting resumes during applicant signup
- Membership sites that need documents from new members
- Sites using WPEverest User Registration with custom profile fields
Features
Let users attach more than one file in a single field during registration or when they update their profile, which helps when a form needs several documents.
Accept formats such as mp3, csv, txt, ppt, xls and xlsx alongside common document and image types, so you can collect many kinds of user files.
Set an individual file size limit and a list of allowed file types for each upload field, matching each field to your storage and security needs.
Server-side validation rejects arbitrary or malicious files, so only uploads that follow your field rules are accepted and saved on your site.
View, download or delete uploaded files from user profile pages in the WordPress admin or from the global settings area.
Files are kept in the user_registration_uploads folder and removed automatically when users delete their profiles or their uploaded files.
Upload fields work inside Elementor pop-up forms and on WooCommerce checkout pages, extending file collection beyond standard registration pages.
Developers can use filters to rename uploaded files and change upload directories, giving more control over how files are organized on the server.

Questions about User Registration File Upload
Does this work on its own, or do I need another plugin?
It is an add-on for the User Registration plugin by WPEverest, so it adds file upload fields to forms built with that plugin. It is designed to work alongside User Registration Pro as well.
Can I limit which files users are allowed to upload?
Yes. Each upload field can have its own allowed file types and its own size limit. Server-side validation then checks every upload and blocks files that do not match those rules, including arbitrary or malicious files.
Where are uploaded files stored, and can I see them?
Files are saved in the user_registration_uploads folder on your server. You can view, download or delete them from the user's profile page in the WordPress admin or from the global settings, and they are removed when a user deletes their profile or files.
Will the upload fields work with Elementor or WooCommerce?
Yes. The file upload fields work inside Elementor pop-up forms and on WooCommerce checkout pages, so you can collect files in those places as well as on your regular registration and profile forms.
Is User Registration File Upload free?
The code of User Registration File Upload is licensed under the GPL, so anyone may use, change and share it. GPL Feast is a paid service: a plan or a single purchase gives you the download and automatic updates. The developer's own support, licence key and online services are not included.
Which version of User Registration File Upload is this?
Version 1.4.3, released Oct 12, 2026. New versions appear here when the developer publishes them, and members get them as automatic updates.
How do I update User Registration File Upload?
Install the free GPL Feast Updater on your site and connect it with your API key. It installs new versions of User Registration File Upload automatically and keeps a backup, so you can roll back.
