What it does
Getting data out of WordPress in a usable shape is often harder than it should be. Content, custom fields, taxonomies and metadata from themes and plugins end up spread across the database, and the default tools give you little control over the result. This plugin lets you build an export by dragging fields into place, renaming and rearranging columns, and merging fields so the file matches what your spreadsheet, report or other system expects. It works with posts, pages, custom post types, users and WooCommerce product data.
Filters let you narrow an export by custom fields, post status, categories, dates and other rules, so you only get the records you need. For data feeds, you can build XML with the drag and drop interface or write the structure by hand. Exports can run on a schedule through a point and click setup or a cron job. Developers can use embedded PHP to create and transform fields and work with the documented API. Translated content can be exported through WPML, and Zapier connects exports to other apps such as Google Drive and Dropbox.
