What it does
Many stores give certain customers different treatment: VIP buyers, resellers, partners or frequent shoppers. Keeping those roles up to date by hand means checking orders and editing user profiles one at a time. This plugin replaces that routine with rules. You define the condition, such as buying a product from a chosen category or passing a spending threshold, and the customer's role changes once the condition is met. It requires WooCommerce and works with the roles on your WordPress site.
Role changes become more useful when something depends on them. The plugin works alongside YITH Points & Rewards and YITH Dynamic Pricing & Discounts, so you can attach role-based discounts, price lists and reward schemes to each customer group. Email notifications tell both the customer and the administrator when a role changes, and orders that triggered a change are marked with icons and notes, which makes it easy to see why a customer moved into a new group.
