What it does
Many shoppers want their order to arrive on a day they will be home, or timed around a holiday, an event or a business trip. Without a way to choose, they may put off ordering or cancel when the timing does not suit them. This plugin adds a delivery date and time selector to the WooCommerce checkout, so customers can state their preference up front and the store can plan shipping around those choices.
Behind the scenes, you build a delivery calendar with available days and time slots based on your business hours and shipping capacity. You can require a minimum preparation time between order and delivery, cap how many orders each slot accepts, and add extra fees for specific days or time ranges. Delivery options can be tied to shipping carriers with their own days and times, and the plugin works with shipping plugins such as Flexible Shipping, WooCommerce FedEx and Table Rate Shipping. It requires WooCommerce.
