What it does
Selling to customers in other countries gets awkward when every price is shown in one currency. Shoppers have to convert amounts in their heads, and some simply leave. This plugin adds multi-currency support to WooCommerce, so product prices can be displayed and paid in the customer's local currency. You can add as many currencies as you need and decide how each one looks, from the symbol position to the decimal and thousand separators.
Exchange rates can update automatically through APIs from sources such as the European Central Bank or Google Finance, or you can set custom rates by hand. Geolocation detects a visitor's location and shows prices in the matching currency, while a switcher widget lets people change it themselves. You can also limit which currencies appear in certain regions, disable specific payment methods for some currencies and add optional exchange fees to cover bank or transfer costs.
