What it does
A standard WooCommerce checkout assumes every item in an order goes to one place. That works until someone wants to send gifts to several friends or ship supplies to different offices, and then they end up placing separate orders. This plugin adds a shipping addresses section to checkout where customers can add as many addresses as they need through a modal window and choose which product goes where. They can also split the quantity of one product across several addresses, which suits bulk gift orders.
On the store side, you decide where the feature applies by excluding specific products, categories or tags, and you choose whether the addresses section appears at the top, bottom or within the checkout fields. Customers can set a default address that applies to every product and override it item by item. After the order is placed, administrators can update the status of each shipment separately, and customers receive automatic emails when those statuses change. It requires WooCommerce.
