What it does
Most WooCommerce stores offer every enabled payment gateway to every customer, even when some options are a poor fit. A low-value order might cost more in fees through one gateway, a high-ticket item might call for a specific method, and some regions may need different options entirely. YITH Payment Method Restrictions addresses this by letting you enable or disable gateways under conditions you define, so the checkout page reflects how you actually want to get paid.
The plugin works through a rule system. You create as many restriction rules as you need for your enabled gateways, then attach conditions such as selected products, categories or tags, a cart total range, specific countries or user roles like wholesalers. You can also assign different bank accounts to bank transfer payments based on rules and show a custom checkout message explaining why a method is unavailable. It supports the WooCommerce checkout block and works with WPML for multilingual stores.
