What it does
Stores that launch new items, sell limited editions or restock popular products often have customers ready to buy before the stock is there. This plugin lets you accept those orders in advance. You can switch pre-orders on manually for specific products, categories or the whole shop, schedule them, or have them turn on automatically when a product goes out of stock, so shoppers can still place an order while the item is unavailable.
Each pre-order can carry its own rules. You can set a dedicated pre-order price or a fixed or percentage discount, add an extra fee globally or per product, and offer free shipping on pre-order items. Availability can be an exact date and time or a period relative to the order date. Payment can be taken upfront or collected later once the product is available, and with YITH Stripe, YITH Stripe Connect or YITH Braintree the charge can happen automatically on release.
