What it does
Writing invoices and delivery notes by hand takes time and invites mistakes, and WooCommerce on its own offers little in the way of invoice management. This plugin generates PDF invoices based on triggers and order status that you set, so documents are ready as orders come in. You choose the details shown on each invoice, add your logo and company information, and pick a numbering scheme that fits your bookkeeping, whether that is order numbers, IDs or sequential numbers with an optional yearly reset.
Beyond standard invoices, the plugin handles proforma invoices, receipts, credit notes and packing slips for physical shipments. A dedicated dashboard lets you bulk generate, download, regenerate or delete invoices, and you can export invoice data to CSV for use in external accounting software. Documents can be backed up automatically to Dropbox or Google Drive. Customers can download their own invoices from the WooCommerce My Account page, which cuts down on requests for copies.
