What it does
Putting a resume and a portfolio on one site can get messy, with work history, skills and project samples competing for space. This theme handles that with a card-based layout, where each part of your profile sits in its own visually separate section. Pre-built sections cover work history, skills, certifications and creative projects, so the structure is already in place and you mainly add your own content.
Setup starts from one of several ready-made demos aimed at different professional fields, imported with a single click. From there you can change colors, fonts and layouts through visual controls and arrange content with a compatible drag-and-drop page builder. The layout is responsive for desktops through smartphones, and integrated social media links connect visitors to your other profiles. It suits designers, developers, writers and job seekers who want a personal site focused on their experience.
Best for
- Freelancers presenting services and past projects
- Job seekers building an online resume
- Designers, developers and writers with portfolio work

Questions about Cards
Can I show both my resume and my portfolio on the same site?
Yes. The theme includes pre-built sections for work history, skills and certifications as well as sections for creative projects, all arranged in its card-based layout so both sides of your profile sit together.
Do I need coding skills to customize the look?
No. You can change colors, fonts and layouts through visual controls, and the theme is compatible with a drag-and-drop page builder for arranging content, so typical edits do not require code.
Is there a starting design I can use instead of building from scratch?
Yes. Cards comes with multiple demos aimed at different professional fields, and you can import demo content with one click. You then replace the sample text and images with your own details.
Will the site work on phones?
The card-based layout is responsive, so your resume and portfolio sections adjust to different screen sizes, from desktop monitors down to smartphones.
Is Cards free?
The code of Cards is licensed under the GPL, so anyone may use, change and share it. GPL Feast is a paid service: a plan or a single purchase gives you the download and automatic updates. The developer's own support, licence key and online services are not included.
Which version of Cards is this?
Version 1.6, released Aug 13, 2024. New versions appear here when the developer publishes them, and members get them as automatic updates.
How do I update Cards?
Install the free GPL Feast Updater on your site and connect it with your API key. It installs new versions of Cards automatically and keeps a backup, so you can roll back.
