What it does
Running a magazine or news site means organizing a lot of posts across many categories while keeping the front page easy to scan. This theme is designed around that job. You can assign a distinct color to each category, so readers can tell sections apart at a glance, and category badges carry those colors through to your posts. Custom widgets aimed at news and magazine sites, such as featured posts, trending news and social media feeds, help you fill sidebars and home page areas with useful content.
Most of the design work happens in the WordPress Customizer, where you see changes in real time. You can pick from several header and footer layouts, use a header and footer builder, choose a color palette or build your own, and set a global sidebar layout. The theme supports standard, video, audio and gallery post formats, works with WooCommerce if you want to add a shop, is responsive across screen sizes, and includes translation files. Author archive pages can display a bio card with avatar, role, expertise and social links.

Questions about ColorMag Pro
Can I give each news category its own color?
Yes. The theme includes category color options, so you can assign a unique color to each category. Those colors show up on category badges, which makes it easier for readers to recognize sections like sports, tech or politics as they browse.
Can I sell products on my magazine site with this theme?
The theme is compatible with WooCommerce, so you can add an online store to your magazine or blog. That lets you sell items alongside your editorial content while keeping the same overall site design.
Do I need to know code to customize the design?
No. Customization runs through the WordPress Customizer, where you can change header and footer layouts, color schemes and sidebar layouts and preview the results in real time without editing any code.
Does it work for sites with several writers?
It does. Author archive pages can show a bio card with each writer's avatar, role, bio, expertise and social links, which helps readers learn about the people behind the articles on a multi-author site.
Is ColorMag Pro free?
The code of ColorMag Pro is licensed under the GPL, so anyone may use, change and share it. GPL Feast is a paid service: a plan or a single purchase gives you the download and automatic updates. The developer's own support, licence key and online services are not included.
Which version of ColorMag Pro is this?
Version 5.2.5, released Sep 17, 2026. New versions appear here when the developer publishes them, and members get them as automatic updates.
How do I update ColorMag Pro?
Install the free GPL Feast Updater on your site and connect it with your API key. It installs new versions of ColorMag Pro automatically and keeps a backup, so you can roll back.
