What it does
Many blog themes either look generic or bury their settings in complicated panels. This theme takes a minimalist approach that keeps attention on your posts and photos, then puts its design controls in the native WordPress Customizer. You can pick from seven layouts, including single column, multi-column and sidebar arrangements, set your colors, choose fonts and hide the elements you don't want on the page. It is a good match for people who want a polished personal blog and would rather adjust settings than edit files.
The homepage can open with the included responsive slider, which displays your latest or featured posts or custom slides you create. Typography gives you access to all Google Fonts, with two fonts in use at once and size settings for widgets, menus and titles. Default phrases can be translated straight from the Customizer instead of through language files. If you later want to sell products or services, WooCommerce support lets you add a store alongside your writing, and the responsive design adapts to phones, tablets and desktops.
Best for
- Personal bloggers who want a clean, minimalist design
- Lifestyle and creative writers sharing stories and photos
- Bloggers planning to add a small WooCommerce shop
