What it does
Photographers need a website where the pictures carry the page, and a general purpose theme often gets in the way of that. Uniiq is designed around images. It gives you multiple gallery and grid options for arranging your work, and a lightbox effect lets visitors open photos at a large size without other page elements competing for attention. The layout is responsive, so galleries adjust to desktops, tablets and phones.
Beyond the portfolio itself, the theme covers the other parts of a working photography site. You can change colors, fonts and layouts without coding, and a blog section gives you room for stories, tips and behind the scenes posts. It works with drag and drop page builders for building custom pages. It is also WooCommerce ready, which makes it a fit if you plan to sell prints, digital files or photography services from the same site.
