What it does
Paying affiliates by hand takes time, and outside payout services can add fees and waiting periods. This add-on connects AffiliateWP to Stripe so commissions move from your Stripe account to each affiliate's connected Stripe account. Affiliates link their accounts themselves, and only connected accounts with a complete profile can be paid, which helps keep payments going to the right place. Detailed Stripe messages appear in the admin affiliates listing and in the affiliate area shortcode, so both sides can see where an account stands.
Once affiliates are connected, you can pay one person with a single click or select several affiliates and process their payments together. Scheduling lets you set individual or bulk payouts for specific dates, so regular commission runs happen without manual work. Affiliates get automatic email alerts about the status of their referral payouts. Because payments go directly through Stripe, you skip AffiliateWP's Payout Service fees and pay only Stripe's standard processing fees, and affiliates avoid the usual 3 to 14 day payout delay.
