What it does

Running a newsletter usually means juggling a form tool, an email designer and a separate service for sending and tracking. This plugin brings those jobs into WordPress. You add subscription forms to your site, collect subscribers into a list, and sort them into groups so each message reaches the right people. New subscribers can receive a welcome email automatically, and bounced addresses and unresponsive subscribers are handled to keep the list tidy.

Newsletters are built in a visual composer with over 25 content blocks, including images, videos, blog posts and WooCommerce products. You can preview layouts across devices and send tests before a campaign goes out. Sending can be one-off, timed, recurring or set up as an autoresponder series. Reports show open rates and clicks, a log viewer lets you check each newsletter, and mail can go through services such as Amazon SES, Mailgun, SendGrid or SMTP.

Best for

  • Bloggers who send regular post roundups to readers
  • Small businesses building an email list on WordPress
  • WooCommerce stores featuring products in newsletters

Questions about Automated Newsletters

Can I send newsletters automatically when I publish new content?

The plugin supports recurring newsletters, timed campaigns and autoresponder series, so you can set messages to go out on a schedule. The composer also includes blog post blocks, which makes it practical to send regular roundups of your latest content.

Does it work with the form plugin I already use?

It connects with Contact Form 7, Ninja Forms, Elementor, Gravity Forms and WP Forms, among others, so those forms can add people to your list. You can also use its own customizable subscription forms anywhere on your site.

Can I send through a service like Amazon SES or Mailgun?

Yes. It can route mail through Amazon SES, Mailgun, SendGrid and SMTP platforms. Using one of these services is a common choice for larger lists, since many web hosts limit how much email a site can send directly.

Is Automated Newsletters free?

The code of Automated Newsletters is licensed under the GPL, so anyone may use, change and share it. GPL Feast is a paid service: a plan or a single purchase gives you the download and automatic updates. The developer's own support, licence key and online services are not included.

Which version of Automated Newsletters is this?

Version 4.9.8, released Oct 2, 2026. New versions appear here when the developer publishes them, and members get them as automatic updates.

How do I update Automated Newsletters?

Install the free GPL Feast Updater on your site and connect it with your API key. It installs new versions of Automated Newsletters automatically and keeps a backup, so you can roll back.
