What it does
Service businesses that take bookings online often end up copying appointments into a separate calendar by hand. That takes time and leads to missed entries and overlapping bookings. This addon connects BookingPress with Google Calendar so each new appointment appears on the assigned staff member's calendar automatically. Events include a title, description and location, so staff can see what each appointment is about without opening the booking dashboard. Booked service slots are also marked as busy in Google Calendar, which helps prevent double bookings during times that are already taken.
The addon works alongside the BookingPress Appointment Booking plugin, which you need on your site. Each staff member can connect their own Google Calendar and see only their own appointments. When a booking is rescheduled or cancelled in BookingPress, the matching Google Calendar event updates to match. Changes should always be made in BookingPress, which acts as the single source of truth, since edits made directly in Google Calendar are not meant to drive the schedule.
