What it does
If you take appointments through BookingPress and send newsletters through Mailchimp, keeping the two in step usually means exporting contacts and importing them by hand. That takes time and invites mistakes, such as missed clients or typos in email addresses. This addon removes that chore. Client information collected during the booking process is passed straight into your Mailchimp mailing lists, so the people who book with you are ready to receive your campaigns without any copying or pasting.
The addon works on top of the BookingPress Appointment Booking plugin and connects to your Mailchimp account. Once connected, you decide which list or segment new bookings should land in, which lets you group clients and send messages that suit each group. From there, Mailchimp's own tools handle the campaigns, including automated emails based on the contacts the addon sends over. Documentation and video tutorials are provided to walk you through connecting the two.

Questions about BookingPress Mailchimp
Do I need BookingPress for this to work?
Yes. This is an addon for the BookingPress Appointment Booking plugin, so that plugin needs to be on your site. You also need a Mailchimp account, since the addon sends client details from your bookings into your Mailchimp lists.
Can I send different clients to different Mailchimp lists?
You can assign new bookings to specific Mailchimp mailing lists or segments. This makes it easier to group clients and send them messages that fit, rather than placing every contact into a single general list.
Does the addon send the marketing emails itself?
No. The addon handles moving client contact details from BookingPress into Mailchimp. Your campaigns, including any automated emails, are created and sent from within Mailchimp using its own tools and the contacts the addon has added.
Will I still have to export contacts from my bookings?
No. Client information collected during booking is passed into your chosen Mailchimp list automatically, so you no longer need to export and import contacts by hand to keep your email list up to date.
Is BookingPress Mailchimp free?
The code of BookingPress Mailchimp is licensed under the GPL, so anyone may use, change and share it. GPL Feast is a paid service: a plan or a single purchase gives you the download and automatic updates. The developer's own support, licence key and online services are not included.
Which version of BookingPress Mailchimp is this?
Version 1.7, released Aug 20, 2026. New versions appear here when the developer publishes them, and members get them as automatic updates.
How do I update BookingPress Mailchimp?
Install the free GPL Feast Updater on your site and connect it with your API key. It installs new versions of BookingPress Mailchimp automatically and keeps a backup, so you can roll back.
