What’s new in BookingPress Paddle 1.6

Version 1.6 · Sep 26, 2026 Latest

What it does

If you run appointments through BookingPress and want to collect payment at the moment of booking, you need a gateway that works with your booking flow. This addon brings Paddle into that flow. When a client confirms an appointment, a Paddle payment popup opens and they can pay with PayPal, Venmo or a major credit or debit card. Paddle handles the transaction and applies its own fraud protection to each payment, so you are not building a checkout yourself.

Setup is short. You enter your Paddle Vendor ID, Public Key and Authentication Key in the addon settings, and Paddle becomes available as a payment option for your bookings. Paddle works with vendors in over 75 countries, including the United States, India, France and China, which makes this a practical choice for service businesses outside the regions some gateways cover. It fits salons, consultants, clinics, tutors and any other appointment-based site already running BookingPress.

Best for

  • Appointment businesses already using BookingPress
  • Service providers who want Paddle as their payment processor
  • Booking sites serving clients in many countries
