What it does
If you run an appointment-based business on WordPress with BookingPress, you need a way for clients to pay when they book. This addon adds Razorpay as a payment option, so a salon, clinic, consultancy or similar service can collect payment during checkout on its own website. Clients pick a time, choose how they want to pay and finish the booking in one flow, without being sent elsewhere to complete it.
Setup happens inside BookingPress and does not call for coding. You connect your Razorpay account, which can be created and managed through Razorpay's online registration, and the gateway becomes available at checkout. From there, customers can pay with credit or debit cards, net banking, popular wallets or UPI apps such as BHIM and Tez. The addon works alongside the BookingPress Standard, Professional and Enterprise plans.
Best for
- Salons and spas taking paid appointments online
- Clinics and consultancies using BookingPress for bookings
- Service businesses whose clients pay through Razorpay or UPI

Questions about BookingPress Razorpay
Does this addon work on its own?
No. It is an addon for the BookingPress appointment booking plugin and adds Razorpay as a payment gateway to that system. You need BookingPress running on your WordPress site, on the Standard, Professional or Enterprise plan, for the addon to be useful.
Which payment methods can my clients use?
Through Razorpay, clients can pay with credit and debit cards, net banking, popular wallets and UPI apps such as BHIM and Tez. This gives people several familiar options when they pay for an appointment during checkout.
Do I need coding skills to set it up?
No coding is required. You connect your Razorpay account to BookingPress from the plugin settings. Razorpay accounts themselves are created through an online registration process, so you can get the account side ready before connecting it.
Will customers be sent to another site to pay?
The addon is built so clients can pay using Razorpay's payment methods without leaving your website. Booking and payment happen together in the BookingPress checkout flow.
Is BookingPress Razorpay free?
The code of BookingPress Razorpay is licensed under the GPL, so anyone may use, change and share it. GPL Feast is a paid service: a plan or a single purchase gives you the download and automatic updates. The developer's own support, licence key and online services are not included.
Which version of BookingPress Razorpay is this?
Version 2.1, released Sep 26, 2026. New versions appear here when the developer publishes them, and members get them as automatic updates.
How do I update BookingPress Razorpay?
Install the free GPL Feast Updater on your site and connect it with your API key. It installs new versions of BookingPress Razorpay automatically and keeps a backup, so you can roll back.
