Many service businesses rely on tips, yet online booking usually leaves no place for them. Clients pay for the appointment in advance and have no simple way to thank the person who served them. This addon puts a tip option right into the BookingPress payment step, so a client can add gratuity at the same moment they pay. It requires the BookingPress appointment booking plugin and works with its Standard, Professional and Enterprise plans.
Once a tip is added, it is assigned automatically to the staff member linked to the booked service. If a service has no designated staff member, the tip goes to the admin by default, so every tip is tracked somewhere. Tips are collected together with the booking payment. Setup happens inside the BookingPress dashboard without coding, and you can set or suggest tip amounts to match how your business works.
