What it does
Moving a community to a new platform means carrying over years of member accounts, discussions and uploaded files. Doing that by hand is slow and easy to get wrong. This plugin automates the migration, taking users, posts and media from your current social platform, forum or membership site and bringing them into BuddyBoss while keeping the structure of your community intact.
The import runs through a straightforward interface that administrators can manage without deep technical knowledge. Detailed logs and error notifications help you spot and fix problems during the transfer. Attachments and profile images come across with the rest of the content, and imported data is set up to work with BuddyBoss social and membership features, so the plugin fits small groups and larger networks alike.
Best for
- Community owners moving from another social platform to BuddyBoss
- Forum or membership site admins switching to BuddyBoss
