What it does
Standard ticket checkouts usually capture a name and an email address, and little else. Many events need more than that. A conference caterer needs dietary requirements, a fun run needs shirt sizes, and a workshop host may want to know each attendee's experience level. This plugin lets you add those questions directly to the registration form attendees fill in when they buy a ticket through WooCommerce, so the information arrives with the order instead of through follow-up emails.
You build the form from several field types, including text boxes, dropdowns, checkboxes and date pickers. Conditional logic can show or hide fields based on earlier answers, which keeps the form short for people who don't need every question. Collected data can be exported as a CSV file for use in a CRM, marketing tool or spreadsheet, and it also works with the FooEvents check-in mobile apps. It suits conferences, workshops, concerts and virtual events, and no coding is needed.
Best for
- WooCommerce sites selling event tickets with FooEvents
- Conference and workshop organizers needing attendee details
- Concert and virtual event hosts collecting registration data
Features
Add your own questions to the attendee form at ticket checkout, such as dietary preferences, t-shirt sizes or any other detail your event needs.
Choose from text boxes, dropdowns, checkboxes, date pickers and other field types to match each question to the kind of answer you expect.
Show or hide fields depending on how an attendee answers earlier questions, so each person only sees the fields that apply to them.
Export attendee information as a CSV file and bring it into your CRM, marketing tools, reporting systems or a plain spreadsheet.
Attendee fields sit inside the WooCommerce ticket purchase process, so tickets are sold and attendee details are collected in a single step.
Custom attendee data works with the FooEvents check-in mobile apps, so you can view attendee details while checking people in at the event.
Mark fields such as checkboxes as required so attendees must provide that information before completing their registration.

Questions about FooEvents Custom Attendee Fields
Does this plugin need WooCommerce?
Yes. FooEvents Custom Attendee Fields works on WooCommerce-powered WordPress sites. The custom fields appear during the WooCommerce ticket purchase process, where attendees fill them in as part of their registration.
What kinds of fields can I add to the attendee form?
You can add text boxes, dropdowns, checkboxes, date pickers and more. That covers open answers like special requests, fixed choices like shirt sizes, yes or no questions and dates.
Can I show some questions only to certain attendees?
Yes. Conditional logic lets you show or hide fields based on an attendee's earlier answers. For example, a follow-up question can appear only when someone selects a specific option, keeping the form shorter for everyone else.
How do I get the collected attendee data out?
Attendee information can be exported in CSV format, which you can open in a spreadsheet or import into a CRM, marketing tool or reporting system. The data is also available in the FooEvents check-in mobile apps.
