What it does
Managing a large photo collection in WordPress can get messy, especially when images live in different places. This plugin lets you build as many galleries as you need and fill them from the WordPress media library, WooCommerce, Google Drive, Pinterest boards, NextGEN galleries, Flickr, Tumblr, local folders and RSS feeds. Automatic gallery creation can add images for you, with options to show titles, authors and descriptions, so a new gallery takes less manual work.
Once images are in, you choose how they appear: fixed sizes, column grids, masonry or a justified photostring. Visitors can sort, search and filter by tags, and move through big collections with arrows, buttons, dots or infinite scroll. The plugin can also apply its features to existing WordPress galleries and Gutenberg blocks, either across the whole site or only where you choose. A responsive slider and image-to-gallery shortcodes add more ways to present photos on a page.
Best for
- Photographers presenting portfolios and large photo collections
- Bloggers who want organized, searchable image galleries
- Businesses and WooCommerce stores displaying product images

Questions about Global Gallery
Can I show images from places other than my media library?
Yes. Along with the WordPress media library, the plugin can pull images from WooCommerce, Google Drive, Pinterest boards, NextGEN galleries, Flickr, Tumblr, local folders and RSS feeds, so you can build galleries from content you already host elsewhere.
Will it work with the galleries I already have in WordPress?
It can apply its features to existing WordPress galleries and Gutenberg blocks. You decide whether that happens across the whole site or only in selected places, so you can switch over gradually.
How do visitors find specific photos in a large gallery?
You can tag images with keywords and offer a live search and filter interface. Images can also be sorted by title, author, date and tags, and pagination options such as infinite scroll or numbered buttons keep long galleries easy to browse.
Does it include a slider as well as grid galleries?
Yes. There is a responsive slider with settings for width, height, slide effects, thumbnail sizes, navigation placement, auto-slideshow and watermarking, alongside the grid, masonry and photostring gallery layouts.
Is Global Gallery free?
The code of Global Gallery is licensed under the GPL, so anyone may use, change and share it. GPL Feast is a paid service: a plan or a single purchase gives you the download and automatic updates. The developer's own support, licence key and online services are not included.
Which version of Global Gallery is this?
Version 11.4.0, released Sep 30, 2026. New versions appear here when the developer publishes them, and members get them as automatic updates.
How do I update Global Gallery?
Install the free GPL Feast Updater on your site and connect it with your API key. It installs new versions of Global Gallery automatically and keeps a backup, so you can roll back.
