Long dropdowns are tiring to use. When a Select field holds dozens or hundreds of choices, visitors have to scroll and hunt for the right one, which slows them down and leads to wrong picks. This addon changes a standard JetFormBuilder Select field into a searchable field. As someone types, relevant options appear as suggestions, and they can choose the one they want. It suits forms such as shipping and billing selections, order submissions and booking requests.
The addon can load options through AJAX, pulling them from the server as the visitor types so the list reflects current data. You can set a minimum number of characters before suggestions show up, which helps limit server requests. The feature is switched on or off per field inside the Select Field settings, so you decide which fields get autocomplete.
