What it does
Running a membership site means juggling several jobs at once: deciding who can see what, charging people on time and giving members a place to manage their accounts. This plugin handles those jobs inside WordPress. You set access rules for pages, posts, categories and more, then connect payment gateways so subscriptions renew automatically. Content can be released on a schedule or based on member activity, so new material reaches people at the right point in their membership.
The plugin suits creators, coaches and businesses that sell recurring access. It includes MemberPress Courses for building and selling online courses, plus coaching tools for managing personalized sessions. The ReadyLaunch page builder lets you design mobile-responsive checkout pages, and members get their own dashboard for subscriptions and content. Reports track membership growth, revenue and member activity, and you can also sell digital downloads and corporate memberships from the same setup.

Questions about MemberPress Pro
Can I restrict only some of my content to paying members?
Yes. You set access rules that protect specific pages, posts, categories and more, so you choose exactly what sits behind a paywall and which membership levels can see it. Everything else on your site stays public.
Does it handle recurring payments automatically?
It does. Subscription billing is automated through multiple payment gateways, including Apple Pay, Google Pay, credit cards, PayPal and buy-now-pay-later options. Members can also manage their subscriptions from their own members-only dashboard.
Can I sell online courses with it?
Yes. MemberPress Courses is built in, so you can create, organize and sell online courses on the same site as your memberships. You can also drip lessons on a schedule or based on member activity.
Will I be able to see how my membership site is doing?
The plugin includes reporting and analytics that track membership growth, revenue trends and member activity, giving you a clear view of how your memberships perform over time.
Is MemberPress Pro free?
The code of MemberPress Pro is licensed under the GPL, so anyone may use, change and share it. GPL Feast is a paid service: a plan or a single purchase gives you the download and automatic updates. The developer's own support, licence key and online services are not included.
Which version of MemberPress Pro is this?
Version 1.14.1, released Sep 10, 2026. New versions appear here when the developer publishes them, and members get them as automatic updates.
How do I update MemberPress Pro?
Install the free GPL Feast Updater on your site and connect it with your API key. It installs new versions of MemberPress Pro automatically and keeps a backup, so you can roll back.
