What it does
Running a membership site means handling plans, payments, renewals and access rules all at once. This plugin brings those jobs into WordPress. You create subscription levels, decide which content each level can see, and choose how members pay, whether through recurring billing, a free trial period or a pay-what-you-want amount. Automated email notifications keep members informed about renewals, expirations and status changes, so routine messages are handled for you.
It works on top of the base Paid Member Subscriptions plugin, which it requires. Beyond individual plans, it supports group memberships for teams and companies, where a group has its own name and description. A WooCommerce integration lets you combine membership plans with WooCommerce products, and multiple payment gateways are supported. Reporting covers membership growth, revenue and user activity, and developers can extend behavior with hooks and filters.
