What it does
Running a community and a digital store side by side often means two separate experiences for your members. They chat, post and comment in one place, then have to go somewhere else to find and buy your e-books, software or music. This plugin brings the two together by connecting your digital store to your PeepSo social network, so selling happens inside the community. Managing your digital products and transactions stays within the same WordPress setup your members already use.
The plugin fits into the wider PeepSo community setup, which gives members activity streams, customizable profiles with avatars and cover images, real-time chat and notifications, groups and polls. Adding a store to that environment suits creators, software makers and musicians who have built an audience and want to offer their work to it directly. It also suits membership and learning communities that sell digital material alongside their discussions. The focus stays on one job: making your digital products part of the social space.
Best for
- Creators selling e-books to an engaged online community

Questions about PeepSo EDD
What does this plugin actually add to my PeepSo site?
It links a digital store with your PeepSo social network. That means you can sell digital products like e-books, software and music directly within your community, and manage those products and their transactions in the same WordPress setup your members use.
What kinds of products can I sell with it?
The plugin is built for digital products. The examples given are e-books, software and music, so it suits anyone who creates files or digital goods and wants to offer them to members of their own community instead of sending them elsewhere.
Do I need PeepSo already running on my site?
Yes, it is designed as part of the PeepSo community setup. PeepSo provides the social side, including activity streams, profiles, chat, notifications, groups and polls, and this plugin connects your digital store to that community.
Is it a good fit for a membership or learning community?
It can be. If your community shares and discusses material and you also sell digital items such as guides, software or audio, the plugin lets those sales happen inside the same social space where members already gather.
Is PeepSo EDD free?
