What it does
Membership sites often end up with half-filled profiles. People sign up, skip the optional fields and never come back to them, which leaves you with gaps in the data you use for events, offers and member communication. This add-on closes that gap by turning selected profile fields into requirements that members have to meet before they can use the protected parts of your site.
You decide which fields are required, and the requirements can differ by membership level. When a member's profile falls short, the plugin limits their access to protected content and shows prompts and reminders that guide them to update it. Administrators can see profile completion status from the dashboard, which makes follow-up simpler. It works inside an existing Paid Memberships Pro setup and on mobile devices as well as desktops.
Best for
- Membership sites built on Paid Memberships Pro
- Communities that need complete member directories or profiles
- Associations collecting specific details from each member level

Questions about PMPro - Force Profile Completion
Does this work without Paid Memberships Pro?
No. It is an add-on built for Paid Memberships Pro and works within that setup, applying profile completion rules alongside the membership levels and content restrictions you already have.
Can I require different fields for different membership levels?
Yes. The plugin supports different required fields per membership level, so a premium tier can ask for more information than a basic tier, or each level can collect the details that fit it.
What happens when a member has not finished their profile?
Their access to protected content is limited until the profile meets your requirements. The plugin shows prompts and reminders that tell them their profile is incomplete and guide them to update it.
Can I see which members have incomplete profiles?
Yes. Administrators get visibility into profile completion status from the dashboard, which helps you identify members with missing information and follow up with them directly.
