What it does
Many membership sites sell to groups: a company buying access for staff, a club signing up a team, or a family sharing one plan. Without a sponsorship feature, each person has to check out separately and the site owner ends up matching payments to people by hand. This add on lets a single primary account holder purchase a membership that covers several sub-members, so billing stays with one payer while each person still gets their own login.
The add on works inside your existing Paid Memberships Pro setup. At checkout, the sponsor chooses a number of seats, and the site checks that number against the minimum and maximum seat settings you configure. Sponsored members then register under that sponsor and get access based on the membership level assigned to them. Sponsors can see and manage their group from their account, and automatic emails keep both sides informed about signups, renewals and cancellations. It suits professional associations, fitness clubs and educational organizations.
