What it does
Running a membership site often means copying the same member details into several tools by hand: an email list, a CRM, an accounting app or a team chat. This add on removes that busywork by passing membership activity from Paid Memberships Pro to Zapier as it happens. When someone joins, renews, cancels or switches levels, Zapier can pick up the event and act on it, such as adding the member to a mailing list or alerting your staff.
Setup happens in Zapier's own interface, so you build workflows (called Zaps) by choosing a trigger and the apps that should respond. Zaps can be single steps or multi-step sequences, and you can add new apps to them as your site and toolset change. The plugin includes a Zapier settings page with an API key you can regenerate, plus a debug log to help you check what data is being sent.
