What’s new in Slider Revolution Exploding Layers Addon 7.2.6
Version 7.2.6 · Oct 26, 2026
Latest
- ImprovedAligned with Slider Revolution 7.2.6
What it does
Standard slider transitions can feel predictable. This add-on gives designers one more animation option: a particle explosion applied to a layer. The effect can be used on text, images, buttons and other slider content, which makes it useful for opening scenes, hero banners and moments where you want a message to land with some visual surprise.
The add-on works inside Slider Revolution 7 and needs the Slider Revolution plugin to run. You set up the effect from a settings panel in the slider editor. You can adjust explosion size, speed, direction and particle types, so a subtle burst or a dramatic blast both fit the design. Effects are meant to stay light and to display properly on different screen sizes.
Best for
- Designers already building sliders with Slider Revolution 7
- Agencies creating animated hero sections for client sites
- Freelancers who want particle effects without writing code
Features
Explosive particle effects
Add a particle explosion to a slider layer so the content breaks apart as part of the animation sequence you build in Slider Revolution.
Adjustable explosion settings
Control the size, speed, direction and particle types of each explosion, so the effect matches your design and the story the slider is telling.
Works with many layer types
Apply the effect to text, images, buttons and other kinds of slider content, which gives you room to use it across different slide designs.
Built for Slider Revolution 7
The add-on extends Slider Revolution 7 and sits inside its editor, so you keep working in the same tool you already use for your sliders.
No coding required
An intuitive settings panel lets beginners and experienced designers create explosion animations by adjusting options instead of writing code.
Light on resources
The effects are designed to be lightweight, so animations stay smooth and the slider does not carry unnecessary weight on the page.
Responsive display
Explosion effects are made to display and perform reliably across devices and screen sizes, including phones and tablets.
Questions about Slider Revolution Exploding Layers Addon
Does this add-on work on its own?
No. It is an add-on for Slider Revolution 7 and needs the Slider Revolution plugin to be present. The explosion effects are added to layers inside the slider editor you already use.
Which slider layers can use the explosion effect?
You can apply the particle explosion to text, images, buttons and other types of slider content. That lets you animate a headline, a product image or a call-out element in the same slider.
Can I change how the explosion looks?
Yes. The settings let you adjust explosion size, speed, direction and particle types. You can aim for a small burst that draws attention to a message or a larger blast for a dramatic scene.
Do I need to know how to code to use it?
No. The add-on has a settings panel designed for both beginners and experienced users. You build the animation by choosing options in the editor, so custom code is not part of the process.
