What it does
Registration forms often need to collect details that users shouldn't see or change later, while profile pages may need fields that make no sense at sign-up. This add-on gives you per-field control over where each field appears. You can show a field only on the registration form, only on the user profile page, or on both. You can also hide fields entirely or set them as read-only so users can view the data but can't edit it after registering.
The settings work inside your existing User Registration setup, and visibility choices carry over to user profiles after registration without extra configuration. You manage everything from the dashboard with no coding. Field visibility can also be set by user role, which helps membership sites and community sites give different groups a form that fits them. Limiting who can see or edit certain details also gives administrators tighter control over the user data they hold.
