What it does
A basic search box works fine when a site has a handful of members, but it falls short once you run a directory, a membership community or a dating site with many profiles. Visitors want to find people by details such as country, profession or age, and a plain name search can't do that. This add-on extends the UsersWP search form so those profile details become filters that visitors can use to narrow the results.
Setup happens in a settings panel. Any custom field you add to user profiles can be made searchable by ticking a checkbox, with no coding needed. Visitors can then combine several filters at once, for example an age range together with a location and relationship status, to find members who match all of them. The plugin requires UsersWP and builds on its existing search form, so your current profile setup stays in place.
