What it does
Many blog themes pile on extras that pull attention away from the writing. This theme takes the opposite approach with a simple, content-focused layout suited to personal, travel, lifestyle, hobby and tutorial blogs. Readers get a distraction-free page, and you get support for every WordPress post format, so standard posts, galleries, videos and quotes each have a place. You can pick a left sidebar, right sidebar or full-width layout to match how you want each blog to read.
Under the hood, the theme is built on Bootstrap 3 with HTML5 and CSS3, giving it a responsive, retina-ready, grid-based layout. It works in major browsers including Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Opera and IE9+. Setup happens through an admin panel with unlimited color options, Google Fonts and Font Awesome icons. It is translation ready, and developers will find well-commented code plus SASS files for deeper style changes, along with 10 custom widgets and 10 shortcodes.
