What it does
Running a video site on a general-purpose theme often means videos sit awkwardly in blog layouts with no room for details like length or view counts. This theme is designed around video posts from the start. You can embed and publish videos from a variety of platforms, and each post can display its duration and number of views. Visitors can rate videos with a thumbs up or down, share them through social icons and move on to related posts matched by category and tags.
Setup starts with a one-click demo import, so you can begin from a ready layout and swap in your own content. From there, the theme options panel lets you choose from unlimited colors and over 1000 Google fonts, adjust post list and single post layouts, and edit the footer and copyright text. A custom code editor is there for anyone who wants to add their own tweaks without editing core files. It suits personal video projects, curated collections and viral video sites.
Best for
- Video bloggers publishing their own clips
- Creators curating videos from several platforms
- Viral or entertainment video sites
