What it does
Many portfolio themes crowd projects with extra decoration, which pulls attention away from the images and case studies a creative wants people to see. This theme takes a minimal approach instead. The layout stays quiet so photos, designs and project write-ups carry the page. The design is responsive, so a portfolio adapts to phones, tablets and large desktop screens, and it has been tested across major web browsers for a consistent look.
Browsing is handled with AJAX, so portfolio items and blog posts load without full page reloads. You can let new items appear automatically as visitors scroll, or show a load more button for a more controlled pace. Six pre-made portfolio post layouts give you options for presenting each project, and simple image and text sliders work for project galleries or testimonials. XML demo content, a child theme and documentation help you get a site set up and personalized.

Questions about Kapena WP
Can I make my portfolio available in several languages?
Yes. The theme is compatible with WPML and Polylang, two common WordPress multilingual plugins. With either one you can translate your pages, portfolio items and posts and offer the site in more than one language.
How does the infinite scroll work for visitors?
The theme uses AJAX to load more portfolio items and blog posts without reloading the page. You can set it so new items appear automatically as people scroll, or show a load more button that visitors click when they want to see more.
Will I have to build my site from a blank page?
No. The theme includes XML demo content you can import as a starting point, along with 6 pre-made portfolio post layouts. You can then swap in your own projects and adjust the design, using the included child theme for custom changes.
Does the theme work well on phones?
Yes. Kapena WP uses a responsive layout that adapts to screen sizes from smartphones to large desktops, and it has been tested on major web browsers so visitors get a consistent experience.
Is Kapena WP free?
The code of Kapena WP is licensed under the GPL, so anyone may use, change and share it. GPL Feast is a paid service: a plan or a single purchase gives you the download and automatic updates. The developer's own support, licence key and online services are not included.
Which version of Kapena WP is this?
